Apple wants to provide mobile network services of their own


Apple is in talks to launch mobile virtual network service (MVNO) own in the US and Europe.

According to Business Insider site, a source close to Apple said that the smartphone maker is negotiating with telecoms companies in the United States and Europe in order to become an MVNO Virtual Network.

MVNO is a form of service provider mobile network intermediaries. A large network can share the bandwidth resale or not their little use for a smaller company. The company can exploit that bandwidth to provide services and virtual network called home.

It also means that instead of paying your monthly subscription and related services for the network, then you will pay the money directly to Apple. Smartphone manufacturers will also provide the service people from calling, messaging, wireless internet and possibly many other useful services.

Creating a special SIM card can help users to switch back and forth between the home network with ease, can be considered a first step in this ambitious Apple. The special SIM card has been integrated into the iPad Air and iPad 2 Mini 3, but not on the iPhone.

However, according to Business Insider, Apple is conducting research and testing MVNO service will take quite some time before it is put into practice. According to sources from a telecommunications company, Apple is having a long-term plan and probably will take at least 5 years for this project to become a reality Apple.

In addition to Apple, Google also is one of the technology companies want to become a virtual network. The search giant has tested its MVNO project in the US, called Project Fi. Although the network service is limited to users Nexus 6, but it shows that technology companies have started to realize considerable growth potential of these projects.
